Brisbane’s first Bellydance School focused exclusively on Tribal Style Bellydance. Formed in 2006  Tribal Blossoms offers tuition & performance in Gypsy Caravan & American Tribal Style (ATS) Bellydance.  With influences from the Silk Road, Middle East & beyond this dance evokes memories of how groups used to dance – with passion and sharing, captivating while remaining connected as a group.

Troupe Director Dee Thomson delights in sharing her dance space & knowledge to those wishing to undertake this dynamic and community based style defined by a determined vocabulary of movement, with drills to enhance muscle memory – the group or “tribe” learn to share their dance in a safe environment, with consideration given to each person’s skill level.

 

Tribal Blossoms philosophy remains seated in retaining heritage of moves & respect for our master teachers who devised this artform.

 

Tribal Workshops and private functions are our specialty – we love to see this art form enjoyed by all & will devise a performance/tuition delivery to suit your individual needs.

 

We offer ongoing and personalised classes in our Brisbane locations, and private tuition is available upon request for that extra one on one focus.
